We are proud to announce that we will be handling the “Estate Sale” of Jean Pickering’s doll collection. Jean loved her dolls very much, as we could tell from the condition and care her Doll Collection was in at the time of the evaluation. I’m sure she would be happy knowing that her dolls would be going to other people that love dolls as well.
The Sale will be held on October 4th and 5th 2008 at the estate of Jean Pickering, 2015 Hickory Ln., Oshkosh WI. The sale will start on Saturday morning, and run from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Numbers will be given out starting at 8:00 am. On Sunday the 5th all remaining items will be 40% off, unless denoted as non-sale items, (* inventory number). The door will be open at 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Numbers will be given out starting at 8:00 am. Please have your driver license or photo ID available when the numbers are given out. This will facilitate, and speed up the process, as this is a private Estate. If you have a “Tax Exempt Number” please have that information with you, and you will be required to fill out the State of Wisconsin Tax Exempt form.

This doll is over 125 years old, and it an early example of the absolutely most beautiful French doll that was ever produced in France. This is a must see! * 139 – 27’ Long Face “Triste” Jumeau Bebe 1879-1886 Designed by
Carrie Belleuse. She is marked with a 12 number only on head.
Beautiful bisque socket head, original blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth,
applied pierced ears. Has an old mohair wig. Body is a jointed composition
with straight wrists. This is an earlier model because it has the ball-jointed body. Identification is stamped on body.
