Limited Edition Dolls Series
by Louise Sowatzka, Master Doll Artisan and IFDM staff teacher.

Reproduction French heads painted by Louise Sowatzka are used to create a Victorian Jack in the Box.  There are a number of heads to choose from, you can choose from a Bru, Jumeau, or a Steiner.  No matter which doll you choose, the artwork is copied directly from photographs of antique dolls, and is done as only a Master Doll Artisan can do.  The detail in the artwork is exquisite.  Costumes are made of the finest materials available.  These masterpieces are created for each individual customer, so personal touches can be added.  The boxes are decorated with antiqued trims and various jewels and beads, so if you have a special antique broach or other jewelry, it can be incorporated into the jack in the box to make it even more personal.  Do you have a special music box song?  Music boxes can be special ordered to add special meaning to your new family heirloom.  No two Jack in the Boxes are alike.  Heads are signed and numbered by Louise Sowatzka.  The wigs are made of the finest mohair available, and the eyes are glass paperweight eyes, just like ones found in the original dolls.  The cost is approximately $850, an additional fee may be added for custom order. Quantity is limited to 50.
